My family

My wife Ellen Coghill (nee Austing) married on December 22, 1979. We knew of each other in high school (Highlands HS), but did not run in the same social circles. Our mutual friend (Bob) hooked us up at another friend’s wedding (Dave) and we took off from there.

We have two sons, Brandon (born 1981) and Brent (born 1982). Brandon married Christina Need and they have to children Alistair (born 2013) and Tydus (born 2015). We also have a grafted-in daughter, Mandi (born 1980).

My mother and father were Joan and Frederick. Mom’s parents were Valeria and Frank Tranter. My dad’s parents were Helen and Alva.

Ellen’s parents were Ellen and Raymond Austing.

Mark (born 1960) is my brother. His wife is Cheryl, and they have two daughters, Melonie and Kimberlie.
