Sunday School Cats

We are cat people. Not long before we were married a couple in our Sunday School class threw a party. They also took this opportunity to show off the new addition to their house. They owned two cats which were put outside for the duration of the party.

We were admiring the new addition when two of our classmates walked up to us in a huff and said, “Someone let the cats in and they were on the table with the food!”

We said (almost in unison), “So?”

We are not sure what upset them more; that the cats were on the table with the food, or that we didn’t seem to care.
